Reinforced Rootzone

The reinforcement process utilises fibres that are evenly distributed throughout the Rootzone – producing a completely homogeneous and very cohesive material. The fibres act to enhance the natural root structure effectively reinforcing and stabilising the Rootzone and producing a tighter sward and increased divot resistance. Ultimately, Mansfield Sand reinforcement technology provides stability and durability to all sand dominated Rootzones allowing the pitch to remain free draining and consistent over the whole surface.

Fibre Reinforced Rootzone

A natural sports turf sand dominated rootzone product that has been reinforced with polypropylene fibres.

This is achieved by mixing our own Mansil 40 silica sand, a screened top soil and polypropylene fibres to create a completely homogeneous blend to be used as the upper rootzone within a pitch construction profile.

Consolidated to a typical 100mm depth the fibre reinforced rootzone can then be fertilised and seeded to produce the final grass surface.

Available ready to lay or in various fibre ratios depending on requirement.

Fibresand

A pure sand and polypropylene fibre reinforcement product that is particularly advantageous when grass cover has been reduced due to heavy usage and wear during the winter period. Incorporated into an upper sand soil rootzone and consolidated to provide a stable divot-free environment.

Fibre reinforced product applications: sports pitch construction, high-wear grassed areas, golf-buggy paths and walk ways.

Available in various fibre ratios depending on requirement.

All products are available loose and in bulk bags.
